Today, we learned about the Nigeria Police Force, which is important for keeping us safe. The duties of the police include arresting criminals, controlling traffic, and keeping peace during public events.
A police station and a police barrack
A police station is where police officers work, and it has offices, cells for criminals, and sometimes a courtyard. A police barrack is where police officers and their families live.
Mode of dressing
Police officers wear uniforms that help identify them; these uniforms include a shirt, trousers, cap, and sometimes a jacket, which have special colors and badges.
