How to Nurture and Sustain Democracy through the National Orientation Agency
Nurturing and sustaining democracy means supporting and keeping our government fair and just. The National Orientation Agency (NOA) helps with this in the following ways:
- Educating people about their rights and responsibilities in a democracy.
- Encouraging people to participate in elections.
- Promoting peace and unity among different communities.
- Teaching the importance of obeying laws.
- Providing information on government policies and how citizens can get involved.
- helping to teach people about democracy.
Duties of the National Orientation Agency
- Public Enlightenment: NOA educates the public on national issues to ensure everyone understands what the government is doing.
- Civic Education: They teach people about their civic duties, national values and ethics.
- Voter Education: They inform people about the importance of voting and how to vote properly.
- Promoting National Unity: NOA works to bring different communities together to live in peace.
- Advocacy: NOA advocates for citizen participation in governance.
- Mobilization: They mobilize citizens for positive change and national development.
