Ancient Towns In Nigeria; Jos & Abuja
Jos and Abuja are significant towns in Nigeria with rich historical backgrounds.
Jos:
- Located in the North-Central part of Nigeria.
- Known for its cool climate and beautiful scenery.
- Historically, it was a major center for tin mining and trade.
Abuja:
- Located in the center of Nigeria.
- The capital city of Nigeria since 1991.
- Planned city known for its architecture and being the political center of the country.
These towns are important because they contribute to Nigeria’s cultural heritage and development. Preserving them helps us remember and respect our history.
Lesson Evaluation:
